For sale at Hotrods and Handlebars Depot and Sales. A 1967 Chevrolet K10 CST, 4x4, long bed, small back window. This is a complete frame off nut & bolt RestoMod Restoration. This truck was completed the first week of May in 2019. Very few miles have been put on this truck since finished. No expense spared RestoMod Restoration . If the part needed change it was replaced with brand new quality replacement parts. You just have to see this truck in person to truly appreciate how beautiful it is.
Once the body, power train, and both axles were removed, the frame, cross member, body mounts, motor mounts, suspension mounts, pretty much the frame and everything attached to it was sandblasted down to bare metal and then painted with glossy black and satin silver Epoxy. All factory installed rivets were removed from the frame, cross members, body mounts, motor mounts, suspension mounts, etc and replaced with Grade 8 Bolts, washers and lock nuts.
The Front and Rear Axles were upgraded to Dana 44 axles from a 78 Chevy K10 with 3.73 gear ratio. Both axles were sandblasted, overhauled, painted with glossy black epoxy. Rear Axle-The new parts include the following --- brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake drums, brake hardware, bleeders, brake hoses, wheels studs, pinion seal. Gear Oil was drained and gears were inspected for wear. Gears looked great so a new chrome differential cover was added as well as fresh gear oil. Front Axle- stripped everything and pulled axles out of both sides and installed the following new parts - Axle seals to both sides, front axle shaft u joints, wheels studs, bleeders, upper & lower ball joints both sides, outer & inner tie rods & adjusting sleeve both sides, brake rotors, brake calipers, brake pads, all wheel bearings both sides, complete rebuild of the 4x4 hubs on both sides and installed Mile Marker manual locking hubs, brakes hoses, drag links, pinion seal, all gear oil was drained and gears inspected, then New chrome differential cover and fresh gear oil added. All new spicer u-joints added front to rear, & new custom built spicer 1pc driveshaft.
Brake & Steering System- Upgraded to Disc in front and drum in the rear. New parts included - Brake booster, Master Cylinder, Proportion Valve, all brake hoses and all brake lines front to rear, new steering coupler for manual steering box
Suspension- Installed Rough Country 8001 4" suspension lift kit which came with new front springs, 4 new shocks & boots, steering stabilizer shock, pit man arm. rear springs were sandblasted, painted in epoxy black and reused.
Drivetrain - brand 350 V8 small block crate motor, Less than 100 miles since installed. Has Edelbrock air gap intake, Brand New Edelbrock 600 CFM mechanical secondary electric choke carburetor, new HEI electronic distributor, new flow tech headers with flowmaster mufflers turned down at rear axle, new alternator, water pump, cooling fan, new champion aluminum 2 core radiator, new spark plug wires, fuel pump.
Transmission- SM 465 Muncie 4 speed manual w/ new pressure plate, clutch, throw out bearing, completely flushed and new fluid
Transfer Case- NP 205 Transfer Case that was mated with the SM465 installed, completely flushed and new fluid
Exterior- The color is Dodge Viper GTS Blue and it is beautiful. New parts include - front Bumper & bumper brackets, head light rings, headlights, chrome grill trim, new Chevy bowtie grill emblem power coated black, park lights/turn signal assembly & lenses, radiator support, radiator brackets, horn, hood hinges and springs powder coated black, new inner fenders, new wiper arms, black hood cowl trash guards, wire harness gutter kit, New door handles, new matching key ignition switch and door locks, fuel filler neck filled and gas tank relocated under the bed, brand new bedsides both, wheel tubs both sides, tailgates and all hardware, latches, link assembly, new rear bumper and all bumper brackets, taillight & back up light assembly including lenses both sides, new front windshield and rubber and new rubber on rear window. Inside of the bed has been rhino lined with fuel filler neck flush mounted in bedliner, battery has been relocated to underneath the bed on the passenger side. Drip Rails on top of cab have been sealed with drip rail seam sealer prior to primer, new inner and outer rocker panels, new cab corners, new complete cab floor pan. THIS TRUCK IS 100% RUST FREE!
Interior- All New Speedway Front to back wiring harness, new carpet, seat Belts, everything internal and external of both doors including the door jams and all weatherstripping are brand new, door panels, armrests, door handles, window crank handles, wing knobs, kick panels, tranny & transfer case boots and knobs, glove box, dash pad, sun-visors, instrument bezel, headlight switch & wiper knobs, steering wheel, door speakers, ignition switch, temperature control, vents, ducts, signal lever, gear shift, dome light assembly. The buddy bucket seat is a factory installed seat for this truck. The seats have been completely redone with new foam & black seat cover. They're extremely soft and very comfortable.
This truck rolls down the road on 20 x 14.5 Fuel Wheels & 33 x 12.50 x 20LT Mud Champ Tires.
